Determine your skin type with the tissue paper test
- Clean your face thoroughly.
- Don't treat your skin with moisturer or tonics for up to two hours.
- Press the tissue paper on the skin.
Chin, nose and forehead will leave stains on the tissue paper if your skin is oily. Only slight traces can be seen with normal skin. There are no traces visible if your skin is dry.
Dry skin can also be determined without tissue paper if your skin still feels dry after an hour without moisturer and tonics.
